Overview

The dripIq Zoom integration lets each team member connect their own Zoom account. Once connected, dripIq can create Zoom meetings on your behalf when a prospect books a meeting through Smart Scheduling.

What dripIq accesses

dripIq only uses your Zoom connection to create meetings for scheduled bookings. We store your Zoom user ID, email, encrypted OAuth tokens, and the meeting join URLs created for bookings. We do not access recordings, transcripts, participant lists, or in-meeting chat.

  • Each user connects their own Zoom account from their dripIq profile.
  • Meetings are created automatically when a prospect confirms a Smart Scheduling booking.
  • If Zoom is not connected, bookings still work — they just will not include an auto-generated Zoom link.
  • You can disconnect Zoom at any time from your profile settings.

Before you begin

  1. An active dripIq account with access to your profile settings.
  2. A Zoom account with permission to host meetings.
  3. Smart Scheduling enabled for your user (configure availability in Profile → Smart Scheduling).

Per-user connection

Zoom is connected individually — not at the organization level. Every rep who wants auto-generated Zoom links needs to connect their own account.

Connect your Zoom account

  1. 1

    Open the user menu

Click your avatar in the top-right corner of dripIq, then select Profile from the menu.

    Add guideAssets/shared/profile-page.png

  2. 2

    Find the Zoom Meetings card

On your profile page, scroll to the Zoom Meetings section. If you have not connected yet, the status will show "Not connected".

    Add guideAssets/zoom/zoom-card-disconnected.png

  3. 3

    Click Connect Zoom

You will be redirected to Zoom to sign in and approve the requested permissions. Make sure you approve all permissions dripIq requests.

  4. 4

    Return to dripIq

After approving, you are redirected back to your profile. The Zoom card should show "Connected" with the email address of the Zoom account you linked.

You are all set

New Smart Scheduling bookings will now include a Zoom join link in the confirmation details sent to you and your prospect.

How it works with Smart Scheduling

When a prospect books a meeting through your Smart Scheduling link, dripIq creates a scheduled Zoom meeting using your connected account. The meeting topic, start time, duration, and timezone are taken from the booking details.

  • The prospect receives the Zoom join link in their booking confirmation.
  • You receive the join link (and host start URL) in your confirmation as well.
  • Meeting duration follows your Smart Scheduling settings (default meeting length, buffers, etc.).

No Zoom connection?

If Zoom is disconnected or requires re-authorization, bookings still go through but will not include an auto-generated Zoom link. Reconnect Zoom from your profile to resume automatic meeting creation.

Disconnect Zoom

  1. 1

    Open your profile

Go to Profile → Zoom Meetings.

  2. 2

    Click Disconnect

On the Zoom Meetings card, click Disconnect. dripIq will deactivate your stored Zoom credentials.

    Screenshot coming soon

    Add guideAssets/zoom/zoom-card-connected.png

  3. 3

    Revoke in Zoom (optional)

You can also revoke dripIq access from your Zoom account settings under Connected Apps.

Disconnecting does not delete past bookings or meeting links that were already created. It only stops dripIq from creating new Zoom meetings on your behalf.

Troubleshooting

Connection expired or re-authorization required

If your Zoom refresh token expires or Zoom revokes access, the Zoom card on your profile will show a warning that your connection expired. Click Connect Zoom again to re-authorize.

Bookings missing Zoom links

  • Confirm your Zoom status shows "Connected" on your profile.
  • Check that you approved all permissions during the OAuth flow.
  • Verify Smart Scheduling is enabled and the booking was created after you connected Zoom.

Wrong Zoom account connected

Disconnect the current account from your dripIq profile, then click Connect Zoom and sign in with the correct Zoom account.
