Smart Scheduling

Let prospects book time with you directly from outreach emails. Configure your working hours, connect your calendar, and dripIq handles availability, invites, and meeting links.

Smart Scheduling Guide | dripIq Docs

Smart Scheduling lets prospects book meetings with you through personalized links sent in dripIq outreach emails. You define when you are available, dripIq checks your live calendar for conflicts, and confirmed bookings create calendar events on your connected account.

  • Each rep configures their own availability from **Profile → Scheduling**.
  • Booking links are generated automatically when outreach emails are sent to your leads.
  • Prospects pick a time on a branded booking page that respects your working hours and calendar.
  • Confirmed bookings send calendar invites to you and the prospect, and stop the active email sequence for that contact.
  • An active dripIq account with access to your profile settings.
  • A connected **Google** or **Microsoft** email provider (used for both sending outreach and calendar access).
  • At least one lead assigned to you as the owner — booking links are tied to the lead owner.
  • **Meeting duration** — Length of each booked meeting (15–90 minutes).
  • **Buffer before / after** — Extra time blocked around existing events so you have prep or follow-up time between meetings.
  • **Minimum notice** — Earliest a prospect can book from the current moment (default: 2 hours).
  • **Booking window** — How many days ahead booking links show availability (default: 14 days).
  • **Respect free/busy status** — When enabled, calendar events marked as “free” do not block booking slots.
  • The booking link is tied to the **lead owner**, the specific **lead**, and the **contact** receiving the email.
  • Links remain valid for up to **90 days** unless used sooner.
  • Each link can only be used for **one confirmed booking** — after a prospect books, that link is retired.
  • If dripIq cannot create a booking link (for example, if the lead owner does not match), the email still sends but without the scheduling block.
  • Choose a date from the available range.
  • Pick an open time slot. Busy periods from your calendar appear as unavailable.
  • Confirm their name, email, and optional phone number.
  • Click **Confirm booking** to finalize the meeting.
  • dripIq creates a calendar event on your connected Google or Microsoft calendar and invites the prospect.
  • Confirm your **working hours** include the day and times you expect to be bookable.
  • Check that **Minimum notice** and **Booking window** are not excluding the dates you are testing.
  • Review your calendar for conflicting events — including buffer time before and after meetings.
  • If **Respect free/busy status** is enabled, verify whether events are marked busy on your calendar.
  • Confirm you are the **owner** of the lead receiving outreach.
  • Verify your email provider is connected under **Profile → Email**.
  • Check that your profile saved successfully — dripIq uses your Calendar Introduction Message when appending the link.
