About this FAQ

This page covers the most common questions about the dripIq Salesloft integration. For step-by-step setup, see the Salesloft Integration guide.

Per-user connection

Each rep connects their own Salesloft account from dripIq Profile Settings. There is no shared team-wide Salesloft login.

Do I need a Salesloft account?

Yes. Each dripIq user connects their own Salesloft seat. dripIq does not place calls itself — Salesloft is the dialer.

Where do I connect Salesloft?

In dripIq, open Profile Settings, choose Salesloft, then click Connect Salesloft and approve access. After the card shows Connected, turn on Use Salesloft for phone clicks.

Does an admin connect Salesloft for the whole team?

No. Salesloft is connected per person, not as a shared company token. Every rep who wants to dial from dripIq needs to connect their own Salesloft account. Admins only need to make sure each user has dripIq access and a Salesloft seat.

Who places the call?

Salesloft. When you click a phone number in dripIq, dripIq matches or creates the Salesloft account and person, creates an assigned call task, and opens the Salesloft dialer. Caller ID and dialer settings stay in Salesloft.

Does this import all of my Salesloft call history?

No. Only calls started from a dripIq phone click are linked back into dripIq. Unrelated Salesloft activity is not imported.

How fast do call outcomes show up in dripIq?

Usually shortly after you finish the call. dripIq listens for Salesloft webhooks, then a background job also checks for missed updates about every 15 minutes.

Are call recordings stored in dripIq?

No. Recording and transcript files stay in Salesloft. dripIq stores call metadata such as duration, disposition, notes, sentiment, and whether a recording is available, plus a link to open the call in Salesloft.

What happens if I disconnect Salesloft?

New phone clicks fall back to a normal phone link on your device. Existing synced call history in dripIq is not deleted. Disconnecting only stops dripIq from making new Salesloft API calls on your behalf.

Why are phone clicks not opening Salesloft?

Confirm Profile → Salesloft shows Connected, Use Salesloft for phone clicks is on, and the contact has a phone number. If a popup was blocked, allow popups for dripIq and try again. If Salesloft still cannot be prepared, dripIq falls back to your device dialer.

  • Confirm your profile Salesloft status shows Connected.
  • Confirm Use Salesloft for phone clicks is turned on.
  • Confirm the contact has a phone number.
  • If a popup was blocked, allow popups for dripIq and try the number again.

Why is Salesloft missing from my profile?

Salesloft dialing is organization-gated. If you do not see Profile → Salesloft, ask a dripIq admin to enable it for your team.

How do I reconnect if the connection expired?

If Salesloft revokes access or your token expires, the Salesloft card shows a reconnection warning. Click Reconnect and approve access again. To switch accounts, disconnect first, then connect with the correct Salesloft user.
